Disk Space / Hosting space
Every hosting plan has a certain amount of disk space. The disk space is used to hold all the files which make up your web site (HTML files, graphics, scipts, multi-media content, and email pop account). If your website has heavy video or graphics you will need a higher amount of disk space.
Data transfer is the actual amount of data that is transferred from an account as visitors view the pages of the web site. If you have a web site with lots of images, audio and video that has many visitors per day, you should make sure that your hosting plan allow a large amount of data to be transferred. The less amount of data transfer you have, the more often your website will be unavailable because you have reached the maximum amount of data allowed to be transferred.
Domain name is a unique name that identifies an Internet Website. An important purpose of domain names is to provide easily identifiable and easy to remember names to numerically addressed Internet resources. Domain Names always have 2 or more parts, separated by dots.
The part on the left is the most specific, and the part on the right is the most general
(themarketershack.net). Technically, the domain name is a name that identifies an IP address. All our plans are allowed unlimited domains as long as they utilize the same web space.
A subdomain is a domain that is part of a larger domain. Example of a subdomain is en.yourdomainname.com and de.yourdomainname.com are subdomains of yourdomainname.com. Subdomains are used if you wish to assign a unique name to a particular departments, functions or services related to your organization.
